Hi Guys,

A few months ago i uploaded some new firmware to my wansview-nc541, but after that i keeps restarting.

Today i found this forum, with a lot of information. I looked up my ftdi board, and hooked it up to the camera. I was able to dump the firmware with the FoscamCloneRecovery.exe tool.

After that i thought to upload new firmware with telnet command "fx 7 linux.zip 0x7f020000 0x8000 -acxz" after selecting linux.zip, i forgot to change the protocol to xmodem. After this mistake i could not get out of the download with ctrl+x option, and rebooted the camera.

After this i am not able to connect to the cam anymore. The serial connection is correct, but hyperterminal display's nothing anymore.

Can this be fixed somehow?

jwp123,
FYI - a verified good copy of NC541/W firmware is in the files section:
