from the errormessage "no video device found" I would say that you didn't find the matching kernel as the drivers for the camera chip are compiled into the kernel.
Unfortunately it is possible that the manufacturer later built the same cam with different chip and newer fw versions would have both drivers but they are not (yet) public.
so the only thing you can do is try various kernel fw (linux) from the filebase and/or search the forum for attachments. You may want to start here:

you should try to flash the correct webui via the camera finder tool that should have come with your cam. It usually locates your cam in your network and with a rightclick it offers to flash new firmware

Hi,
as rs232 is only needed for development/service I doubt that the manufacturer wasted valuable assembled pins. You can try to find correspondent pins with a multimeter in conductance check ... sure you will find gnd and v+ but Rx,Tx?

some of the chinese IPs may be the "factory dyndns". If not over the GUI you should be able to deactivate it via the cgi-api. Other way is to block these IPs within your router.

usually with this switchmode PSUs you can't find the fault by measuring the voltage, their problem usually are dryed capacitors failing to smooth the high ripple of such devices. So the average you measure with a voltmeter may show 5V but the electronics go berzerk with the spikes on the supply.
There should be a crude disassemled binary in the download area or at lest you should find the link to the original blog with the boardsearch.

ok, so did the problem start during normal operation or did you fiddle with the flash?
It might be that some undocumented "settings" got deleted (e.g. the factory-dns credentials). I usually make a full dump of my devices to avoid such surprises... takes quite some time but is definitely worth the effort.

as far as I remember the [26] is some kind of error code.
In the early days of this board, the owner had contact to a developer of the original firmware and posted some of the codes with rudamentary description. Maybe you can find them with the boardsearch...
are you on the orig. firmware or is this the result of a backfired upgrade attempt?

hmm, first I think you should flash a webui
sometimes this is reported to happen if the wrong linux is loaded
for me that happened with one device when wifi was enabled, didn't do it on lan-cable.
