Author Topic: Help determining cameras and/or resolving framerate  (Read 3437 times)

I bought 4 cameras for my office, and I am trying to determine if there is any firmware updates to improve framerate.

My setup:
 - Internet is 50M down and 2MB up
 - Local router is Netgear WNDR6300
 - 4x "IP Camera" connected to router via 802.11n
 - 1 windows 7 x64 Dell 3010 with 8GB RAM
 - iSpy set to record on motion detection

Im currently getting 4-5 frames per second, even though I set iSpy to capture at 20 frames per second. My videos are choppy and barely usable. Was wondering if anyone can help determine the camera model so that I can try and find if any firmware updates are available, or if OpenIPCam can be flashed to these devices.

Appreciate any help.
