The Raspberry Pi people have been having fun getting Wifi card drivers going on their ARM6 based Linux board.

Ours is ARM7 based, but compiling is fairly similar, with same pitfalls.

There are a variety of relevant pointers that apply to us also in this thread -

Eg the rt2870.bin compile stuff / using the correct bin file.  I've been bitten by that myself!

Stuff like this is useful too - for autosetup of wifi via shell scripting.
and its possible some of the stuff here may run out of the box, as its arm5 compiled on uClib.
Haven't tried, but someone should probably give it a whirl.
