The file size 0x1ca078 = 1876088 is what the bootloader reports. If you have 0x198d80 = 1674624, then that must be a different kernel image?

BTW, I have some new findings on the Wifi problem. It seems that the port it is attached to does not work (out of the box) in my 2.6 kernel. If I swap the Wifi and camera USB plugs, Wifi starts working but it doesn't see the camera. However, the port is functional, as the stock firmware sees both devices. Maybe I need to explicitly power-up the port. I already had a glance at the nuc700-ohci driver, but it doesn't really seem to do anything besides using the default OHCI implementation.

I also get a lot of linefeeds and nothing else, when I test the kernel on a FI8905w.

Is the source tree avaialable for download someplace..? The files in the git repository sems to be older that this original post.

I have followed the instructions there, and actually managed to make something build, but I seem to fail on checking out your nuc700 branch, so I dont have all the customization.

Yes I forgot - "git clone" will only clone the master branch. See this topic here: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/67699/how-do-i-clone-all-remote-branches-with-git

Does "git checkout -t origin/nuc700" work for you instead of just "git checkout nuc700"?

Well.. I used google some more, upgraded git, and started all over.. now it works like a charm.
