Author Topic: Any better firmware for my Hi 3516C Camera?  (Read 6435 times)

Hi, I just bought an IPS-HS1821L
http://www.ipstechnology.com.au/Products/Professional%20IP%20Cameras/HS%20Series/IPS-HS1821L/detail#

It only includes has 3 urls for rtsp, h.264 at different qualities. rstp://IP/(11|12|13)
I would like to have mpeg4 and mjpeg as well.  Is there any chance I can get alternative firmware on this device that enable more/better features?

Thanks!

Seems to be the same hardware as an Amovision AM-Q10342:

Hi3518, Board 8100.
Mine is supposed to have an Aptina MT9D111 2 MP camera module (according to the config file)

What is your Software- and HardwareId?
Can you telnet to the camera?

Sorry been forever but here's the info you asked for.

####

Hard Ver: 8100-imx122
Software Ver: V1.2.6.8-X10-Build:20130831D

Yes telnet is running and accessible but I'm not sure the user/password.

I'm ok with the firmware this thing came with; I'm going see if I can find the most updated one. But I would love to run something opensource if available.
