I'm on it......after putting the kids to sleep lol

I don't even mind giving u a visitor account to log in if you think it might help!? You would just be watching my son (hopefully) sleeping!

Thanks for the offer, but it would be better if you can simply save the HTML pages, while in them using your Standard Camera Interface that came with the camera, for your FTP and eMail settings. It should save simply the HTML source code and not any personal configuration data. You will need to be an Admin level Id to do this.

Hey Don!

I checked out your website! Nice to meet a veteran! Respect! I work (as a civilian) in software for the Canadian Navy.

As for the html stuff, looking at the source, it appears to be java and xml based!?

I've attached the frame to add/modify an account to the camera and the PTZ settings frame. I don't have any FTP options I can see. Also, I am using firefox so I don't get the full options as I do (and don't need any OCX plugin) with IE. Don't know how much that makes a difference. Thanks again!

Hmmm,

I wonder if you have a MayGion camera?

Sadly, their web site is now gone or offline for some reason:

http://www.maygion.com

The error returned is in Chinese, which in English translates ("Using Google") to:

"The host maygion.com be stopped:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Possible causes are: host expired downtime, administrators close the site has been suspended, the domain name is not binding, filing problems, please Log Management Centre or contact the administrator"

You can try poking around what their web site looked like in the past, using the waybackmachine to see if anything there makes any sense for your camera:

hello,

This is an old post but I reply since I've got the same (buggy) camera seemingly.

I suppose it is "SmartEye" branded. That's at least what it reads when you export the config (personal data erased)

If you have any clue about some new firmware I would be very interested.

regards,

ferti
