Author Topic: Anyone got any experience with HiVision based cameras?  (Read 3762 times)

Hi

I recently bought a IPS-913V. Unfortunately the firmware that comes with it is terrible. I've managed to break into the firmware (by modifying the root password and uploading a new firmware) and I've already added support for mounting Windows shares.

However, I am unable to get any software I have written for reading the video stream to work. I've copied the few examples I can find on the Internet and the reference documents. I'm not entirely sure what I am doing wrong?

The camera is based on a Hi3512 chip, and I've already got the SDK that's available on this site.

Thanks & Regards
Stephen
