Hi, congratulations for the site.
gave me a ip-cam series F-M136, which was wrong update, now will not start more.
I have a serial to usb -rs232 and I would check and reinstall the firmwar.
I had a look at the site but I got lost.
are a beginner and would like to learn.
what software to use?
and that 'the procedure?
there is a detailed guide that I can follow.

thanks for the reply, I was able to establish a connection with the rs232 ip camera, the problem I found with different file linux and rom.iso, to reboot the firmware goes into the loop and does not stop. I do not understand where wrong. !!!

from the errormessage "no video device found" I would say that you didn't find the matching kernel as the drivers for the camera chip are compiled into the kernel.

Unfortunately it is possible that the manufacturer later built the same cam with different chip and newer fw versions would have both drivers but they are not (yet) public.

so the only thing you can do is try various kernel fw (linux) from the filebase and/or search the forum for attachments. You may want to start here:

I did various tests, and I realized that to be lacking and 'the CCD circuit.
After mounting on the IP CAM WORKING, I found the same problem ....

You cna check your ccd/camera module by connecting it to your pc via usb. I'm in the same situation as you. I checked my camera on pc and I get an image, but, still, my clone ip camera refuses to 'see' the camera module.
